What does hobbies exactly mean?

It can be anything, absolutely ANYTHING, that a person may be interested in and actually does it. Other definition means an activity that you enjoy doing for fun.

Having hobbies is truly important to the Elderly. Not only are hobbies fun, but they can refresh the mind and body,assist one in staying healthy, active and happy. It is a proven fact that spending time doing the things that we enjoy can help delay signs of aging and the pleasure in participating can lead to positive feelings that can help fight against some illnesses. Free time is an excuse to get fully involved in doing something that you consider to be a hobby or pastime. Hobbies are useful because they give you the opportunity to expand knowledge, improve skills, and to be focused, diligent, and switched on. Moreover, a hobby allows you to enjoy yourself as you immerse yourself in the intricacies of it. Be sure to reach out to others in the same hobby so that you can connect, share ideas, and brag. This is one area where showing off now and then does no harm provided it's all in good fun and you return the favor by complimenting the efforts of others in your hobby, too.

An activity that require to spend lots of money you don't have to do things you don't need to do.

A random thing that you do in your spare time and it has nothing to do with the rest of your life. Something that is senseless.

Something you like to do and regard as a proud.

An activity you perform which is not working or sleeping.

Something you like enjoy doing until you decide making it your profession.
